It's astounding to think that the very first games of Dungeons & Dragons were played over half a century ago! Over the intervening period, the game has evolved through several versions, in addition to spawning a whole subculture including movies, toys, clothing and even internet memes. It's difficult to imagine any of the original players could have predicted how far their game would come!

Of course, as technology has improved and advanced over the years so have the levels of digital and online support for each new iteration of Dungeons & Dragons. It is entirely possible to play the latest version entirely online with others across the globe, without the need for dice, a physical character sheet, or even anyone else in the room with you!

However, for some of the earlier versions of D&D, there are notably fewer examples of online resources to help DMs and Players to play their games. That's where D&D: BECMI comes in. Whether you're a Player or a Dungeon Master, there's sure to be something here to pique your interest - whether that's checking spell lists or experience thresholds for your character, or checking a rule variant or making note of monster stats for your group's next dungeon delve!
